TARGAN Signals Global Growth With Key Industry Leadership Hires
RALEIGH, N.C., JAN. 16, 2024 – TARGAN, Inc. (TARGAN), the cutting-edge animal AgTech company dedicated to enhancing global food efficiency through targeted technologies and innovative solutions, today announced two additions to its global sales team. Ali Matloub will be the Director of Technical Sales and Business Development, International Markets, and Vincent Fevrier will be the Commercial Lead in Europe.
“With more than 30 years of experience between Ali Matloub and Vincent Fevrier, the knowledge, expertise, and passion they bring to TARGAN are key to our long-term vision to transform the animal AgTech industry worldwide,” said Ramin Karimpour, CEO of TARGAN. “As the need for a more efficient and sustainable global food supply continues to grow, expanding our expert team internationally will help demonstrate to protein producers across the world how our systems can improve animal welfare, productivity, and their bottom line.”
The hires come at a pivotal time of growth for TARGAN as it introduces its innovative technologies to international markets. WingScanTM, TARGAN’s groundbreaking Feather Sexing System, launched in the United States in 2023, leverages high-speed imaging and artificial intelligence to accurately identify chick sex, achieving up to 98% accuracy at a rate of 100,000 per hour per system. The system addresses a distinct industry need to improve operational efficiencies, ensure animal well-being, increase performance, and optimize production.
“TARGAN’s technologies are bringing cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to the poultry industry,” said Ali Matloub, Director of Technical Sales and Business Development, International Markets for TARGAN. “I look forward to connecting with stakeholders across the industry in Canada, Latin America, and Asia to introduce them to our groundbreaking technologies.”
“TARGAN’s mission to create innovative solutions will change how poultry production works and reshape the animal protein production industry,” said Vincent Fevrier, Commercial Lead in Europe. “I’m excited to join this experienced team and be part of sharing this trailblazing technology with the world.”
TARGAN will also introduce its targeted Vaccine Delivery System in late 2024. The automated system provides targeted microdose vaccinations, protecting flocks from top infectious diseases and reducing reliance on anticoccidials. The improved efficacy of vaccine delivery through TARGAN’s system leads to earlier onset immunity across the flock and increased performance, resulting in lower feed conversion rates and customer feed costs.
Founded in 2015, TARGAN celebrated the grand opening of its state-of-the-art facility dedicated to research, design, and manufacturing in Raleigh, North Carolina in September 2023. With over 130 engineers, scientists, and technology professionals under its roof, TARGAN is poised to revolutionize animal protein production across the globe.
Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, TARGAN is an AgTech company poised to transform animal protein production industries worldwide by bringing affordable, individualized care technologies to the market. World meat consumption is expected to double by 2050. The world’s growing population, along with the popularity of animal protein, is responsible for the growth in meat consumption. The industry continues to evolve to meet market expectations, including the trend toward limiting the use of antibiotics in production. Producers are seeking novel solutions to improve health standards and vaccination procedures while allowing for a similar level of productivity in the absence of antibiotics and other chemicals. TARGAN is bringing advanced technology solutions to the poultry, aquaculture, and swine industries to address this demand. For more information, visit TARGAN.com.
